That's a big oversight by GM if they don't have those knobs lit up in the chevy, esp. if it is in the gmc.

So i have a fully loaded LTZ-2 with the navi and my truck does not have the rings that light up around the knobs. if you look closely you will see that there is a white plastic like the other knobs that do light up, but these just don't. i have asked about them and everyone either acts like they don't know what I'm talking about or have some bull**** excuse!

Maybe on the Chevy's the backlighting on the dials is only available on the high country? Anyone have a High Country around here yet?

If that was the case then they should have explained that on their brochures and not show every model with them on.

Yep!!!every pic in brochures shows the lights lit up.. false advertising no matter how slight..and in my opinion its a big one because those rings if lit up would make it look so much better..

there may be a small footnote somewhere in the brochures that says "only available on certain models"

I have a fully loaded LTZ and im missing those light around the knobs too. The brochure clearly shows the lights and the Sierra's have them too. Not a huge deal but it would look better with them and I wish my truck came with them..

On my 13 Malibu 2lz it states in the owners manual that there is a boost gauge in the DIC along with an autolock feature after so many min. Neither of these features exist. GM epic failure IMO.

For those of you who have the silverado and are missing the glowing rings around the knobs (everyone) I have good news for you! Below you will see pictures that the lights are installed and the rings that glow are installed. However, for one reason or the other they are not turning on. I'm going to check if I'm missing a fuse or even better, take it to the dealership and tell them to figure it out. Everything needed is there. You can see that next to R32 the LED is connected to the board.

So the knob LED thing is a software issue...
