You could always get one of the squatter holes in the ground like some of the bathrooms had when I was in Saudi Arabia. When I came across one of those I held it till I was back at the hotel which had a normal crapper.

Last one I bought was a Toto Guinevere. Cost a fortune but it's a 1 piece elongated ADA height with sanagloss so I shouldn't have to deal with it again for a very long time. Really like the unifit rough in...wax ring gets bolted with the rough in and then the toilet sits over that so even if the toilet shifts it doesn't break the wax seal and leak.

Bought 5-6 over the last 5+ yrs and the ones that I am the most impressed with have a 4.5" flush valve, yet are still the 1.2 gallon water conserving. Two of em' in our old house are like this. No clogs in 5+ years even though they are water conserving. Any help in NOT hauling water as often is a plus for some.

 

I like the sounds of that Toto Guinevere. One piece sounds great.

 

I don't get the elongated thing. I personally don't like the elongated ones (have two of them). As long as they flush w/o problems is my main want.

Most men prefer elongated. What's your problem with them?

Just seems like they jut too far into the bathroom.

 

It is personal taste, I probably should not have mentioned it as it does not affect the operation.

They have elongated toilets that have a footprint no larger than many older round bowls

Elongated is more comfortable if you are a bigger guy. My butt and thighs fit on it. Smaller round bowls don't have the extra support, but I am a tubby tubby

I bought an eljer elongated.... No complaints
