Finally had a chance to install my 5100's and took some time to finally de-badge it. So much better now.

Looks good man. Love the silver. Finally got my body colored wheel arches on. I think they look good but the color seems a little off. They didn't paint them on the truck. They sent them 2 weeks later. Tell me what you think.

Wheel arches look good. I've always been told that Silver is a hard color to match and paint repairs are a little more extensive. I personally like my black plastic wheel arches. I don't particularly pay too much attention to them and they are very easy to care for.

 

What part of Colorado are you heading to? You're gonna love the active grade braking if you get a chance to hit i70 heading West out of Denver. Its a pretty boring drive until you hit New Mexico, then you start getting the beautiful landscapes and windmill farms.

Lol. It's funny you say the drive is boring until New Mexico. I say the same thing. All flat and then the hills start forming. That's when I started to get excited last year when we went for the first time. Staying 2 days in Colorado Springs to see Garden of the Gods and pikes peak. Then heading to keystone where I rented a condo for 7 days. Wanted a central location to visit Lake Granby and Trail Ridge Road back to Estes Park. Then might go to Fort Collins for the day to show my mom where we want to move and show her horsetooth reservoir. Then Glenwood Springs, Aspen, and Boulder maybe. I'm pumped and so is the family. Taking some natural Meds to help with the altitude aclimation. I got pretty sick last year in Estes Park until I went to and oxygen bar. Lol

Sold my 2000 GMC lifted Sierra, just welcomed my brand new Sierra today! I love the 6.2L engine and the cooled seats, especially right now in Texas!
