2104 Silverado double cab, LT, Z71, all star, bucket seats.

So far 380 miles, picked up last week. Truck is great, rides excellant. Couple of issues so far.

-Radio reception on FM is horrible-Dealer checked and said that all the 2014s seem to be the same way.

-Voice recognition dosent always work, says Voice recognition not able to be activated at this time. Only does it certain times, other times it works fine.

-Factory GM bedliner has rubber plugs for lower tie downs, plugs are hard to put into place when removed, upper tie down area's have no slot or hole in bedliner. (dont have upper tie downs, but would like to get them).

Trucks I have owned - 1991 Nissan Hardbody, 2005 Nissan Titan, 1997 Chevy S-10 ZR-2, 2002 Ford F-150 FX4, Traded in 2011 Toyota Tacoma TRD off road for 2014 Silverado. So far the Silverado continues to impress me the most. Heated seats for entire seat or just the seat backs, what an awsome idea, They work great. Remote start. Chevy My-Link system is very nice-(Voice recognition issue to get resolved). Confortable Bucket seats, giant floor console, tons of usb, 12v, and even a 110v supply. Just to name a few.

You owned a Titan? Ugh! Love Tacomas though, there really is no other small pickup unless we're talking fleet vehicles.

Why did you get rid of Toyota?

"Why did you get rid of Toyota?"

Got a good deal on the new truck with Tacoma trade.

The Silverado is much better to drive than Tacoma, much more room and better features. Gas milage on 2014 Silverado is about the same so far. Chevy has sure done a good job on this new truck. I have owned other Chevy products (Corvette, Camaro's) and really liked them.

2011 Tacoma TRD off road compared to 2014 Tacoma TRD off road=nearly identical .

The Tacoma has been the same for years (very plain interior), although I got close to what I paid for it and it was 3 years old with approx 28000 miles. Tacoma held its value and sure was bullet proof. Still good trucks, but like the Silverado.
