How long did your truck sit at the VDC before delivery to dealer?

Your dealer can change the sale date to whatever date of their choosing.

 

For instance, last month there was $500 auto show cash that ended on the 10th. Since my order was sold retail, and I couldn't sign the paperwork until the 13th, they backdated it. That way I wouldn't miss out on the extra cash.

 

Not sure if they were not suppose to do that. The only down side was my in service date would be short 3 days for warranty issues.

That was the plan, but apparently they were investigated by GM a while back for the practices so now they can't do it.

Can someone explain to me what it is they do at the VDP? My trucks been there since Thursday night and still hasn't even been unloaded. It's only two hours away from my dealership so I don't get what the hold up is. I'm just getting a little frustrated that my trucks here and I can't get it. Honestly this is worse than waiting for it to be built and everything else leading up to that. I just want to drive it already.

Yeah. I know what ya mean. Still no truck for me. Has been there for over two weeks now.

 

I don't think anything is done there. Just a distribution center I thought.

If your dealer isn't far drive by and see if your truck is there. Sometimes delivery status is slow to update.

 

I saw mine before my salesperson knew it had arrived.
