Amp Research Powersteps have been great so far. About 4-5 hour install, fairly straight forward. The factory rectangular step was just getting skipped, getting in and out. These split the difference perfectly at stock 4x4 height.

Can you show a full side view to see how discreet they look?

I picked up a set of the 5" raptor magnums I have never installed nerf bars on a truck before. Anyone put these on their '14 yet? they are rocker mount FWIW.

I tried searching the forum with no luck so any tips for a smooth install?

Thanks!

There are so many nice step bars on the market for different prices. I had the 3" nerf bars on my 2002 Silverado and they worked fine. On my 2008 I got the 4" nerf bars and liked the look better. I just saw them at the dealers on the 2014 Silverado and 2014 Toyota Tundra with the 3" nerf bars and it was okay. I personally like the looks of the 4" but that is just a matter of choice. Just looks a little bit more beefer.

Here is the side view of my truck with the Bestop Powerboard NX. You can barely see them to be honest. They look a bit red in the picture because of the lighting/reflection.

Yeah thanks, saw them. I should have been more explicit, am interested to see some close ups of the fitment. As well a full side profile when they are closed as well as down. Want some, and will likely do them with the optional stainless trim pieces to line up/compliment the side chrome moldings on my '14 Sierrra.

Did you have to put spacers to get them even? The back of my powerboards are right up against the bottom of the truck, but the front is down maybe a 1/2 inch. Hard to see but annoys me regardless.

very easy 30 minutes a side. Front 2 brackets use factory bolts.

Can someone provide instructions for the 6" rectangular running boards for the crew cabs? Mine did not come with any instructions. Thanks! Feel free to PM me instead.
