Thanks guys. This info will help those of us that are still in the planing stages of this project. I would like details of the electrical system and how you get the different ports to work.

Parts arrive Wednesday, I'll get the bench seat out then and start building the harness. This might take some trial and error but keep y'all posted.

After getting the console and looking at the wiring, I did not remove the jump seat but unbolted it. Evidently the old harness plugs in under the seat. So what I plan to do is start another thread with the wiring of the console only. I will call it "Console swap 2.0" it will be about how to wire it only.

This thread will be here for part numbers etc...

Okay Reaching out for some help, i read a lot of information on this forum, but not everyone has a 2014 Sierra. So i want to make sure i buy everything i need for this Swap from a jump seat console to a fixed center console. i will attach a couple pictures of what it looks as of right now and how i would like it to look when completed. this is the first time i have done this big of a modification to my truck and i would like it to look factory.

1. Buy the Center Console Assembly: Part Number: 22995069
2. This is where i am stuck what else do i need to buy? i read that this came with the lid and obviously you have to purchase the cup holders.
3. Currently the truck has the silver/ brush Trim Pieces, Black Leather seats with white stitching.

Previous post from 2014 they mentioned these parts # along with the console 22995069

4. Panel gm# 22817349 Only one of these Part numbers works on www.gmpartsdirect.com

Panel gm# 22817347

Plate gm# 22995085

You are on the right track. you will have to verify your particular color and trim through which ever sight you order from

1). you will need 5 pieces.

a) console

b) tray (piece that you have in pic 2) where the cup holders are

c) 2 side pieces to the console that are separate

d) bracket, will attach new console to dash area.

And yes pic 3 you will remove that tray and the bracket will mount in that area.

No but i would like to know as well. ive been looking for it.

i think there is a 3D vinyl wrap that can be installed that looks like it.... just don't know about the texture of the material, if its just a smooth or does it feel like real wood.

I have a 2017 Sierra Crew Cab SLT model that has the bench seat in the fronts also. I am very interested in doing the swap as well.

I was wondering if everything should be plug and play? All the features should work including the wireless charging?

Nothing is plug and play, but it's not that difficult if you read take your time and order correct parts, go to the other thread I started "SWAP 2.0" this is dedicated to the wiring only not the other issues the people have resolved in this thread. Both are great reads , but I wanted to concentrate on the actual wiring harness.

Does anyone know what size the bolts are that connects the bracket to the console up front just above the guide pins ?? the console is a tight fit and don't think I will need them nut with the custom sub box it's real tight and don't want all the pressure on the pins only.

A few have asked recently but I haven't seen any answers. Anyone with a '15 had luck getting data out of the front USBs?

I have 2016 Elevation Series Sierra, its a double cab, been reading a lot of info here and I am not the sharpest spoon in the drawer. I think the part I need is 23466980 but can anyone please confirm?

Thanks for your help !

I just finished the swap and would like to thank those ahead of me for all the information.

I used these part numbers

23467113 Upper trim panel in Synthesis

22776807 Console assembly front bracket

23467516 Side trim

22817347 Side trim

23466980 Console

19303284 Cable from HMI to USB

I have a 2016 2500HD LT model with black leather seat. The cable I used is a perfect match to the HMI and USB(3) ports. I used the existing harness for the rear ports, and then salvaged the LED wiring, a 12V plug, and USB power plug from the new harness. I spliced the three together and connected them to continuous power at the fuse panel on right side. I then removed the glove box USB cable and used the open port on the HMI for the new cable to the triple USB port.

I have everything working including data and charging at the USB's. I originally had Apple carplay in the original configuration, but that no longer works. I think it might be due to the new console and the ports that are installed. Carplay wasnt' available on the 2015 models, so it may be the configuration of the hub built into the ports. I found another console 23466999 which I believe is for the 2016 models but I couldn't confirm that. I also preferred having the SD card slot over the carplay feature.

23466980 shows online it will not fit my 2016 , I guess that is not correct? I tried the 23466999 and found nothing? Actually it doesn't say either way

    • It's possible the two trucks are using different body control modules which is why yours works and the OP's doesn't.   So much in these newer vehicles depends on model/trim configurations, production date. They don't all use the same modules like back in the day.
    • I forgot to answer the question as per what market mine is set to and yes I finally found that area on mine and yes its also set to America.   So here's something I realized as I wasn't looking at that part in the Sierra section until now, your right that what I see here as choice 3 under Sierra which says 07/2023-06/2026 ( 433 MHz 13542523 ) it has no choice 5 for tire pressure selection. Where as it does under the Chev choice. However I kept going down the list within the Sierra and I am really wondering if choice 9 will work for your truck as it has the same model number and hertz sensor as my truck. I would say try that choice first, if that doesn't work then jump over to the Chev section and again choose that same model and hertz choice as for some reason the Chev section gives the choice 5 of tire type/pressure selection for going back a number of years. Could very well be an Autel thing that they just didn't get the updates all done properly under Sierra but anyway first try that selection 9 I suggested under Sierra and then go from there.
    • Looking for this piece that holds the hose clamp in place. I have the hose clamp just not that other piece. Dealers and wrecking yards in my area will not sell just that piece. They want you to buy the whole air tube $100 +/- to get that $5 part.  that piece isn't molded to the air tube as I looked at my friends truck. It's held on by a screw and nut. I'm trying to put the OEM parts on the truck as the previous owner butchered things up installing an aftermarket CAI. It really looked homemade. 🤣 Thanks
    • Ok I missed that part that yours is a GM. The strange part is that the choice for year ranges and within the year of 2026 is different on the Sierra then on the Chev for some reason as I am looking at my tool at the Sierra choices. Now I am guessing you see as to your sensor part number as it may be different on your truck for some reason and a call to GM should get you the part model number of the sensors you should have as well as which MHz your sensors are. I know mine are the ones as per what I listed but there are other choices in the Autel and got me wondering if by some chance they put different ones in your truck. Having said that, did you try using each of the choices starting from No 1 and going on down the list, not sure if that would mean shutting off the engine each time and resetting the tool and going at it again each time. Also I thought of something else which may sound retarded but if there was some stupid chance that the chev choice would work. The reason I say that is that the Sierra is showing a range up to 06/2026 for the various choices of sensors it could be where as the Chev has one choice that has that 12/2026. By the way it is possible to not run the truck and you may know that as per not pressing the brake but pressing and holding the start button for a few seconds and it lights up the dash ( its called service mode ) but that sucks battery power and if it were me doing it that way I would be throwing on a decent sized battery charger before doing it that way as killing your battery won't make you happy at me at all !.    Like I say, just a thought to try the Chev choices if you have already exhausted the Sierra choices but first it would be nice to know for sure what exact sensor model and hertz your truck uses as I assume only those choices that mention the sensor would work unless a choice that does not mention the sensor model would somehow work. Its frustrating when one is trying to use tools like this without the experience of the tool and the vehicle, as I am sure dealer techs themselves struggle with it when starting out or a new model year comes along that is slightly different.
    • I tried before I updated the scan tool just incase an update messed it up, but it never worked so I updated the scan tool and it still didn't work.   Only difference is I click on Sierra not Chevrolet cause I have a Sierra.   If I click on 2026-2024 I didn't have any option to change placard, when I click on 2023 it does give me the option but when I try to do it,.it says vehicle not supported!   I have my region or market or whatever it is set to America I think, is that what yours is set to?
