Factory exhaust on the 2014 6.2's

Just curious, but does the exhaust pipe on the 2014 6.2 liter trucks exit straight out the back like the GMT900

Nope, out the side. Same as the 5.3

Well, that's no good. I always like that my exhaust stood out as a 5.3 from the 6.2. Now GM has made them the same.

It doesnt aound like the old 6.2s either which i was pissed about. I put one straight out the back on mine tho jus cuz i still like the old ones

local shop stuck my curved exhaust out the back for $20.... just something to think about

Of course it wont sound the same as the outgoing 6.2, two entirely different engines plus the new truck has a lot more stuff on the exhaust system than the old trucks had.

 

Magnaflow 5x11x22 muffler, cut out the exhaust valve and rear resonator and it will sound great. I turned several heads at the dealership the other day when I went there in mine with this setup.

I guess I will never know if it's a 6.2 now, when I pull up beside one at the light.
