Just an update on the stock air box mod that I did. I completed a log today at various speeds from city, to WOT at about 110mph, and cruising at 70mph, to get a full look at the performance band. I sent it in today, I hope to hear something back by Wednesday or so. I will see what comes of it, and report back in for those who are interested...

It's just our shop, not really sure what else to say lol.

Is it a business or a private building? It appears to be either a vehicle restoration shop or an extremely large private workshop! Regardless, it certainly is a huge, clean open space!

It's just a larger personal work shop, we store some firewood in it but mostly just our cars and tractors

Cleaned the interior and replaced the rotten OE wipers, washed out Airaid Filter , cleaned the Intake Tube and Throttle Body. Oil changed and tires rotated, Silver Silverado is good to go for another 6000+ miles :flag:

Added aftermarket rear park assist since I found a color matched rear bumper with the holes for it. I have to use some 3/4" knockout bushings for electrical boxes and trim them down a bit as the sensors where too small to fit in the holes where the factory sensors are. I don't think it looks to bad really and from 3' away you wouldn't know they weren't factory unless you knew what you were looking at. I did hit the bushings with some plastidip and glossifier before installing them. What do you guys think.

Made some more progress. I got all the side pieces the same size and used a router to round over some sharp edges by the port. I have the cap cut out for the magnet, I just didn't take a pic. Started to glue and screw it together tonight.

So yesterday I was cursing threw the build page and found a build by waymon. Waymon wanted to fix the gas pedal lag and he found a trick on a post by this guy http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/167606-gas-pedal-flex-solution/

Today I had some time on my hands so I tried it and to my surprise it worked

Now when I push on my gas it goes right away!

I am looking at a Husky Underseat Bin, but they only come in black. Since I have a HC with the saddle interior I was wondering if you guys thought it would work to get it wrapped with a brownish color. Opinions please..............

yep but be $$$ might be easier to paint it with spray paint yourself. You could make it match your paint color

Yeah I thought about that too! What would be the easiest is if they made the damn things in the other color of interiors like DuHa does. But I don't like the looks of the DuHa! The Husky has the nicest Shape IMO!

I made an order on new Huksy floor mats for my truck, new cabin ail filter, and ordered a new exhaust setup for my truck.
Can't wait to get em installed! :jester:
