Canada doesn't sound like a very pleasant place to live. Sounds very communist

It is difficult for me as a Canadian to ignore this comment. If it is intended to be humorous, it needs rewording. If you are generalizing about a whole country because of one individual's vehicle issues then I would like the opportunity to inform you otherwise. Best practice is to avoid making such comments.

Thank you for choosing your words as careful as you did. If there is an issue, let's take it off line... I for one would like to keep this forum as relaxed as it is. For me, this is a place to gain knowledge, give knowledge, have a laugh, make a joke, get new ideas, hopefully inspire some as well, maybe meet a friend or two, escape from my daily life and spend time with others who share a common interest.

Please, let's all not take that away from any of us...

I got my LC2i the other day, and just went and picked up some 1/2" MDF for a box build today. I'm second guessing not going with the 3/4", but well see. It'll have bracing inside and it's only a 400w woofer that won't be flexing to its limits.

It was intended to be humorous and satirical. I view this forum and any online interaction as a light hearted environment. I'm rarely confrontational here, and I believe that people take online interactions much too seriously. So I won't apologize for my comment, as I don't see it as overtly offensive or in poor taste. But I was born after the fall of the USSR, so I will concede to you that the older generation might take communism as a more significant issue than I do.

And what exactly does an implied threat of violence do?

If we're going to delve into taking things literally then you could stand to reason that "take it offline" equates to let's take it out back/to the parking lot, which is generally associated with violence.

That's funny as we in the communist state didn't see any implied threat of violence, on the other hand if my cat would just get her arse of my keyboard!!!!

I believe we all want to keep this discussion focused on our trucks and not offending people. Taking such an off topic discussion elsewhere is not a threat. There is a section on this forum dedicated to "off topic" discussions. I apologize for my part in getting off topic. I want to know when my comments may upset or offend anyone and I appreciate feedback.
