Vin number decoding for gear ratio..

Hey peeps, i am in the market for a new (used) Silverado/Sierra to replace my old worn out Ford. I know... i am a GM guy at heart and had a 20 minute slip in clarity, been paying for it the last 12 years. Just give me some pushrods again! Traded in my 2000 Trans Am... (hence my username)

Anyway, i found a 2011 Silverado LTZ with 13,000 miles on it, 5.3 liter. I have the vin, but can't tell what the rear gears are. I don't want 3.08.. i plan on buying a pop-up to tow and anyway, just don't want 3.08. I have tried looking online at some of the vin decoders, even the ones that were posted here, but i don't see where it lists it. Am i missing it or would it be somewhere else? I have not looked at the truck in person yet, just online.

Thanks for the help!

That's not a valid VIN. The last 8 only says it's a FWD Terrain and the whole thing comes up with an error

Look at the codes sticker in your glove box. Look for one of the following codes:

GT4 : AXLE REAR, 3.73 RATIO
GT5 : AXLE REAR, 4.10 RATIO
GT7 : AXLE REAR, 3.33 RATIO
GT8 : AXLE REAR, 4.10 RATIO
GTY : AXLE, WIDE TRACK
GU1 : AXLE REAR, 2.41 RATIO
GU2 : AXLE REAR, 2.73 RATIO
GU4 : AXLE REAR, 3.08 RATIO
GU5 : AXLE REAR, 3.23 RATIO
GU6 : AXLE REAR, 3.42 RATIO
GV2 : AXLE REAR, 5.83 RATIO
GV4 : AXLE REAR, 3.36 RATIO
GV8 : AXLE REAR, 2.72 RATIO
GW4 : AXLE REAR, 3.31 RATIO
GW6 : AXLE REAR, 3.27 RATIO
GW9 : AXLE REAR, 2.93 RATIO

Thanks guys. I guess that's why I was having trouble figuring out what gear is in it. I got the vin off the dealers website who has it for sale. Might try and look at it this weekend.
