I definitely want an LTZ crew cab but am curious would I be able to get the 20" chrome wheels that come with the LT on an LTZ? I think they look better than the LTZ 20s.

Just find a dealer that has the setup you want or ask them to do a swap. If your building one from the dealer you can basically do whatever you want.

We have two 14 LTZ Silverado's with 20 inch chrome wheels. They came standard on the Texas Edition 4x4 but cost $1200.00 on the Silverado LTZ Z 71 as an option. I do not think they have an option on an LT for 20 inch chrome wheels although I could be wrong.

I know you can get 20" chrome on an LTZ or an LT but Im talking about the ones that are not offset that are usually on LTs if they are available on an LTZ. I have built a truck quite a few times online but it doesnt let you customize that much. Im guessing the best bet is to swap some off an LT on a dealer lot if they would allow.

Are you building online, or at the dealership? At the dealership you can order just about anything. Online they basically just let you do the particular packages and or options. At the dealer they can do all sorts of stuff.

I was looking at a Chevy Brochure. It shows 20" Chrome wheels for the High Country. and different chromed ones available for the LTZ, which are offset flat spoke with a little cap to cover the lugs. They show polished 20" wheels with exposed lugs available for the LT. It doesn't show chromed 20" wheels available for the LT. Are there other chromed 20's available from Chevy? Are the polished 20" LT wheels the ones you re interested in?

For the most part, the answer is No. I, too, didn't like the LTZ 20s...they look like Auto Zone chrome plated plastic covers. I sat down with my salesman, and went through every option available, when building my truck...there was only ONE 20" option, per config (i.e. LT, LT Z71, LTZ, LTZ Z71...). I would've also liked to get the LT version of the chrome 20s, but it wasn't possible to build it from the factory that way. :dunno:

I stuck with the factory 18s, and I've since been sorting through all my options...Dealer's Parts department had some nice GM options, but too dang expensive...anywhere from $3k - $5k, because they only sell them in a set...which all add to the price going up...wheels, tires, center cap (what??), sensors... :banghead:

So, I'm keeping my eye on aftermarket 20s (KMC, Fuel, etc...so many options). I'm keeping an eye on ebay and craigslist.

Jared, I feel your concern...I was in the same boat. I didn't want to pay an extra $1200 for wheels I didn't like. I hope you get it figured out. Just thought I'd share my experience, to this point...hope it helps. Plus, I'm open to anyone's suggestions, also.

Yeah I searched and didn't find any with the polished aluminum rims. Strange. I'm sure the dealer will do a swap since it looks like the chrome rims are a limited option and the polished ones are more aval. The dealer would probably make out on your swap.

Check at dealers in your area, you may be able to find one that has 'take offs' of the rims your after.

Yes I am talking about the polished wheels with exposed lugs. Like the guy said above, the LTZ 20s almost look like cheap plastic AutoZone hubcaps or something.
