If you look on the drivers side door jam then you will see the month your truck was built. Odds are you won't have any problems with your truck. I have two problem free Silverado's and one of them is a Z 71. You have a nice looking truck.

Look lower, should be another sticker. You have to look close but the build month and year is on it, but not the exact day.
