I bought mine on the 28th also and I'm glad I did. Would have lost out on some rebate money as I already had invoice pricing

Is the "Special Value Discount" on the GMC site just the Supplier pricing discount?

On an SLT it looks like

Special value disc: $3350

Consumer Cash: $1000

Package cash: $1000

Truck Month cash: $750

Total: $6100

Can anyone confirm?

That's what I mean. I built one and it went from 53,150 to 47,440 but I don't know if I qualify for all the rebates/incentives. I don't see anything saying the rules on them.

I for one am waiting for some good incentives before I pull the trigger, given my current financial position. How many others are holding back because of price? If GM wants to gain market share they need to offer some more attractive deals!

I don't wait for good deals I make my own :) I grew up on the carlot.. I know how they work, my family owned dealerships for many years.. I waited til the last week of the month to start haggling, and the last day of the month to pull the trigger and I walked in with 20k in cash for the down.. It may not be the best deal of the year, but I think it was about 6k below MSRP.. and on a brand new truck (This was on Halloween night) I think I did pretty good.. Then again, seeing some of the deals I've seen on here I am starting to think they are giving these trucks away in other parts of the country.

Just checked out the GMC build site and looks like that is good for whomever enters it in? Some people had stated that the prices were way too high but my old 2009 SLT had a sticker of around 45500 when new and it was not nearly as refined as these 2014's are. A comparably equipped 2014 SLT is right at 50k sticker. Hmm 5yrs I guess the trucks go up around 1k per year on average? You can probably negotiate your deal and save a bit more from what you get on the site but it sure looks like a good starting point to me. I am going back now to check on a plain jane Sierra with the V6 Might just get that Sucka for FREE LOL.

Trying to figure out whether I should buy this month or wait until July/August. Anyone know from experience if Incentives get better as the year goes on? Also, I am wanting to get into an SLE Crew Cab with Bucket Seats, 6' Assist Steps and 20 inch rims. I qualify for the GM Employee Discount. Anyone know what I should expect to pay for this at a dealership? I'm in Indiana and haven't seen any SLE like what I described. I'm wondering if I am going to have to order. I also have the option to Tag a vehicle but have never done this. Any experience with that?
