Things you LIKE about your new truck?

I've read a number of threads detailing what people don't like about their k2xx (I've started 1 that I can remember) but not so many about the positives.

Here's what I'm talking about:

I Like how the interior lights start out dim then ramp up to their regular brightness, including the vanity? mirror lights (sure there's a far better way to describe that but that's all I got right now)

I like how it handles and drives overall, I've driven new sedans that don't feel as tight as my truck, not saying the ride couldn't be improved but overall I really like it.

I like how comfortable the seats are. That said I'm fairly skinny and I could see how some of the larger framed folks might have issues with the thin seats.

I LOVE the tailgate.

I really like how quiet it is.

sure there's more but off the top of my head that's it

I would agree about the interior lights and driveability for sure. I also have complained about my truck (radio knob lighting issue and voice command intermittently not working). But that aside, I absolutely love my 2014 Silverado. The tailgate opening easily is nice, especially for my wife. Also, the 5.3 is a nice change this year andputs down more than enough power for me (at least while it's still under warranty). I would not hesitate buying another 2014 Silverado if I had to do it all again, no doubt.

Everything. Appearance, Rear Leg Room, Bed Lights, Dash, Tail Gate, Power, Comfort, Road Manners, Quietness, Available features and on and on..... Best truck on the road IMO. Traded in my 2013 for this one and couldn't be happier with my decision.

Quiet, smooth, comfortable, telescoping steering wheel, sound system, mpg, engine power, roominess, appearance in and out, a blast to drive, I could go on, traded a 2012 Sierra, just like upgrading from a Model T.

I smile every time I look at my truck. I grin every time I drive my truck. The leather interior and Bose sound system Is just luxurious. I love how quiet it is on the highway, and the fact that as big and long as it is it still fits into my garage.

There is nothing about either of my Silverado's that I do not like. Both have been great vehicles.

After driving a 2500 for some time, my new 1500 crew cab is an amazing improvement. Ride, noise, and gas mileage are all huge improvements. I am very pleased with the truck so far.

Love my truck so far, and can easily deal with the little issues it does have (wavy dash, missing radio knob lights, warped weatherstripping around sunroof) either easily fixable or liveable with (radio lights).

Too bad the loudest voices here are the negative Nancy's. No car is perfect, it's what yor willing to live with. My 2007 Tacoma ws a good truck, but had some quirky issues as well. I would buy another Silverado if I had to do it again.

The list of what I like is long and much of which has already been listed. It's difficult to think of anything I don't like. It seems superior in every way to the 2011 Silverado Z71 LTZ I traded in on it. Just like a previous poster I grin every time I look at or drive it.

Likewise, this has been the "best" truck I have had in the list of likes. One item not mentioned is the cruise control. Lots of hilly highways here in East Texas. Typically, every vehicle I had with cruise over-reacts when encountering a hilly road with an incline that causes it to downshift. Not only does it downshift, but it goes into a racing launch. Like, "man, what was up with that?" I have had that cruise over-reaction with cars and pickups.

Not this truck. The added power of my 2014 5.3, and probably the 3.42 rear end helps, I'm sure. But, there is no full-bore racing downshift and the climbing of the hilly road is quiet and civilized. I appreciate that.

I had intended on buying a left over 13 Denali, I had been waiting for the prices to drop, I always buy that way. I was so impressed with the 14 Texas package and the deals for them I bought it, very happy with it.
