I would absolutely go with the duramax.. I did when I bought my truck and have absolutey not regrets about it. Everyone makes a big deal about the def tank.. I've never had any issues in the 8000 miles on the truck and when you have steps on the truck the tank is only a few inches below

I don't know the answer to that, I know in Canada when the new trucks come out it's only a couple months before you start seeing delete kits

It took a lot more than a couple of months to 'break' the LML when it was released in '11.
