I dont know if its worth waiting til 2017 and buy a used 2014 or try to get a good deal on a new one

I checked the Chevrolet website yesterday and for LTZ Crew Cab short bed, 4x4, 5.3L V8 it showed only $2750. Today for the same configuration shows $6220. I was in a panic yesterday as my truck is currently in transit to the dealer. Feel much better now.

Looks like GM just sweetened the pot a bit, at least for those eligible for employee pricing.

On the employee pricing site, I see a new Empoyee Bonus Cash offer, that I don't recall seeing yesterday.

Now they are showing;

$1750 Purchase Bonus Cash

$2750 Consumer Bonus Cash

$4500 total Cash Offers in addition to employee pricing.

This is up from the $3900 in February, and $3500 in March.

Just employee pricing and the current incentives should now get you close to $10K off MSRP without any negotiating.

Looks like the regular Chevy.com site is still showing $3500 in total cash offers, so looks like this is limited to those that get employee pricing as of now.

Does this apply on the Sierra Crew Cab SLT's???? When I went onto build my truck (GMFamilyFirst.com), it still just showed Cash Allowance of $1750. I am using Employee Pricing.

This might be a stupid question from a newbie but here goes...

I have on order a Denali with the 6.2. I have a price from the dealer that includes no incentives and when I take delivery (this month) from the dealer all current incentives will be deducted from said price.

My question is how do I know what the incentives really are currently? When I go to the GMC website an check under current offers it only shows the 3.9% financing plus $750 truck cash. But when I build my truck on the same GMC website the build summary shows $1750 cash allowance + $3765 special value discount totaling $5515. Why the difference? Can anyone explain?

Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

Glad I bought last month.

There were only two $24975 longbeds in town. Rebate structure stayed about the same.The other truck sold too.

All the other 1 W/T longbeds nearby were $27k units.

Looks like they are throwing an additional 2k at the stripper base model to move them out. Will still put you in the 21.5-22k range plus tax and title to get into a 1W/T, which is the most basic one. (Unless you find one that was built before October 2013. They carry a $1500 lower MSRP). Look for a VIN ending in 165000 or lower.

On the fence if I should order a 2014 or 2015, if I ordered a 2014 now, when would I expect delivery? Some time in August? Wonder how the rebates/incentives would be then?

I was told 8-12 weeks on the 14 I ordered March24/14. was also told the 15s can be ordered starting July1/14
