Did GM send anyone else a trailer brake wiring harness in the mail?

Also these white caps were there. Anyone knows what is these??

those caps go in the rocker panel under the doors

The caps were there if you had the chrome factory steps installed. In the chromes reflection you can see the caps. So if you had a light colored truck you would use the white ones.

I got a 'P3' brake controller from etrailer.com, included is a wiring harness. This harness has a plug on both ends for very easy plug in. There are also video instructions at etrailer about connecting up the controller. I don't tow my heavier trailer very often either. I may just try to set the brake controller in position temporarily when I do tow, without mounting it.

i haven't received one, I called my dealer and asked about it but as usual the salesmen don't know anything. Can I contact GM for one?
