This is starting to get annoying, but it seem like every one is having recalls these days. More scrutiny I guess.

So what is the recall on? Too much psycho-babble on that website. I just saw that it had 2015 Silverados and Sierras. I'm guessing these are the HD trucks?

There is another link at the top of the story. It also seems that GM recalls get more press now because of all the stuff currently going on with them.

I agree about more recalls. It seems there are more and more recalls now. One that I haven't noticed any recalls with are the Nissan Titans. Maybe I've missed them but I don't seem to see any for them compared to the others.

*Edit - just searched for newer model Titan recalls and the most recent (January 2014) was for a label stating the wrong max inflation PSI for the tires. ha ha.

GM has been caught red handed lying(Mary didn't know! But actually, she has emails discussing it starting a decade ago....) and people died, so now its CYA mode.

Don't get me wrong, I love my truck till all this sorts out I will use my older car for trips. In six months I have less than 4000 miles on my truck, I don't take it out of town. At least it will be low miles when I trade it in three years.

That's because the Titan has been around for a decade with no real updates. Look back at 2004/5 when the rear axles were blowing.

I don't care what anyone says about titans, i have a Nissan NV van for my buisness and it had been amazing, it drives way better then my other vans (econolines) and is better on fuel. Way more powerful too. The Nv is built on the Titan chassis.

That dosent mean the Titan is not extremely ugly though

do you think its sad that all these recalls are are actually scaring me out of my wits? because the Cheapest Car GM made was the Aveo, and what if they Cut Corners on my Car to save a Buck, and I'm Driving my own Coffin?

I wouldn't worry. Same as the Toyota unintended acceleration fiasco, I continued to drive a Camry Hybrid several times a week even though people were all but certain I was going to go speeding off into a fiery death. lol. I just say a prayer before I take off, no matter what vehicle I'm driving.

When has anyone been confused that driving a car down the road the size of an Aveo is NOT driving a coffin on wheels?

As far as the recalls, thinking they threw Mary Barra into this crap to have a woman as CEO vs an old gray haired suit that made the decision to save a penny. So nobody confuses this, I think she is completely qualified for the job, just think the board at GM is using her & will throw her under the bus when it is over. Hope I am wrong & just an opinion.

Mine IS newer, its a 2010 to be exact. But I feared a recall for ANY Aveo, and now my WORST Fears Have Just been CONFIRMED, and the Aveo Forums have been Informed that some of our Members may get the "Dreaded Recall Letter of DOOM"
