GM just announced wireless charging for new cars for the upcoming 2015 model years . The Sierra and Silverado are going to get the option in Q4 of this year. Just thought I'd post as an FYI.

Pretty cool that its coming stock.

I believe a member retrofitted his center console and inserted a wireless charging device on his 2014.

I've got plans to add a wireless charger to the center tray as soon as I upgrade my phone. Only reason I hesitate is I want to test how thick of plastic i can bury the charger underneath and still get it to work.

Thanks for the info. I plan on ordering mine in the next week or two

The Denali's get Magnetic Ride Control.

OnStar changed to AT&T and dropped Verizon for their service.

A new color is coming too. :P

And I think you could get the 8 inch mylink screen on the work trucks now.

The hotspot is now included standard in the trucks, powered by AT&T 4G LTE.

If I remember more I'll gladly comment here and tell you if I remember/find more.

Cool, thank you. I just ordered mine last week. The sales guy thought it was a 2014 but obviously '14s can't be ordered so it's going to be a' 15 so just curious what all will be new or different. Thanks for the info!

Apparently there were some more I missed lol did you order a Chevy or GMC? Either way I'll post the link to the lists to see what's coming to 2015 models.

Ah nice choice! Well unfortunately I don't have info on what they get but if the silverados got those upgrades I'm sure the GMC Would get the same since GMC is their "higher end" truck so I'm sure you would get those features talked about in the Chevy web page.

Ya I'd assume they would be pretty similar for silverado and Sierra. I didn't see anything in the article about the wireless charging. Did I just miss it?

I was really hoping they would have the push button start. Oh well

I heard the charging will be available later in the year. Unless it is too time consuming for them to put them in? Not completely sure but I know I read from official GM that they are getting them maybe not until later in the year. Lemme find the link. And yea I wish they would get push to start also. But the pickup trucks are made more for "workers" rather than "big families" like the SUV's, so we might not get push to start. I honestly was expecting it at least in the High Country or Denali, but alas, GM didn't see fit to include it.
