Talk about bad luck with my new truck

So in the past 2 weeks I had a rock chip repaired only to have another happen the same day! And to top it off Wednesday I noticed something all over my windshield when the light hit right that seemed like mist. Tried to clean it with the wipers and it was still their. Got home and it was on all the windows and body. Felt gritty. Let some window cleaner soak on the window and tried to clean it off, nothing.. It would not come off. Come to find out a roof foam company was spraying and my truck was down wind and now it's all over my vehicle. I have pics of them their because they were their Thursday also. What are my options at this point? Anyone ever dealt with anything like this?

Contact the owner of the foam company. A good body shop should be able to get it off the truck. That stuff will also be on the houses and anything else out side in that area. You may want to file a police report. Try some goo be gone in a small spot to see if that works. if so a body shop will deff fix it.

Clay bar seems the most non abrasive way of removing and is what I'm hoping does the trick. I have to take the truck in to the body shop at 130 to get an estimate of what needs to be done. Hoping for the best

Silicone gel and razor blades is how it's removed. I know it sounds aggressive but I've been around polyurethane foam for 35 years and that's how it's removed. Call the owner of the roofing company and demand he have it removed or the truck re painted.

Well got 2 opinions. One was light sand and polish. The other was for clay bar and wax. The people that recommended the sand and polish tried some paint thinner and it didn't do anything. Said getting a police report would go a long way. If sanding didn't work they would have to repaint. Guy that recommended the clay bar used some and it worked but left the surface a little scratched even though he sprayed the clay and surface.. Really pissed and can't believe this.

Thanks for the info man. I hope this doesn't become a legal matter

If clay removes it, it's better than repainting or razor blading. Even if it needs a good buffing afterward its the least invasive.

I'm in construction. I've had my paint subs get droplets from the spray guns acres away onto my company car, personal car and other people's cars. That stuff travels like you wouldn't believe. Clay bar. $120 for a full size truck. or $20 + about 6 hrs of your time. + wax it afterward.

Yeah I was about 50 yards away and it got me good. Bout 3 others too but they don't seem to care to much as they have older vehicles.

Yeah that's a long time. Truck is a regulated cab so hopefully it won't take that long

I clay bared the rail dust off my white crew cab. I had probably 6 hours in it. Any scratches you see after clay bar can be buffed out with a porter cable very easily before waxing your truck. You should at least wax your truck after clay bar.

^yes, 6 hours lol. or more if you are super picky and working slow. And doing that work in FL right now... it was 96F today in my area. you work slow when it's 96.
