I have a few problems with my 2wd 5.3l crew cab.

I notice some times when I turn left slow/wheel cut all the way or close to it will make a pop in the fornt end I can feel it in the steering wheel.

Also i notice sometimes when I slow down to almost stop but still rolling a couple mph and get back on the gas as normal it feels like the transmission is slipping.

Also im getting sqeaking from the rear when like I go over a speed bump.

Wow after reading this post, It felt like something I would have typed. Yes I complained about the feeling of loss of forward momentum slipping with rpm fluctuating.

My thunk/noise would happen when my steering wheel was cranked to the full right and backing up and appling brakes the rack and pinion would pop/thunk with a deep metal sound. I complained to GM and they didn't want to listen I have a recall number 14204 but it was a selective recall for certain vin # not all vehicles.

This is what I thought my truck was doing at times, I think it is a bigger issue then they are willing to admit too.

Just saying search youtube "2014 silverado 1500 4x4 steering clunk" this is what happens after awhile when the issue gets worse. Mine was same sound but not as frequent.

I havent taken it down do the dealer because i know they will give me the run around and i cant get it to do the clunk everytime. The same goes for the transmission.

The pop that came from my drivers front when turning hard right at 10-15 mpg was a fender bracket that loose/broken. Dealer fixed it. No pop now.

isn't this where some guy posts that his truck is perfect and you must be making it up?

I don't think he's making it up at all. I'm just letting potential buyers know that not all these trucks have problems. Unlike some on here want you to believe.

I called the dealer today to make appointment. they told me that I must ran into something for my truck to be having these problems. bill cramer dealer in pc fl is the worst. Im going to find the next closes dealer and take it to them. Im a true chevy fan and I believe most of these trucks are problem free. things happen and they all can be built perfect.

NORMAL, NORMAL, and NORMAL! You may hear these dreaded words when you bring the truck in for warranty work.

In the GMT900, the front end popped on mine when turning and going over a bump a low speed. It turns out my alignment shop said it's common for the front suspension crossmember bolts to get loose and get this noise. He tightens them whenever a truck comes in for an alignment.

Not going to say he's making it up. I have 6,500 miles on my 2014 and Haven't had any of those issues. I have felt the transmission do that, but not as bad as it would feel if it was slipping. Not really going to worry about it unless it gets like my 98 did before the trans went out. Only problem I've had was when I took it in for 2 recalls at once. Other than that it's been a great truck. *knock on wood* lol

Ya it doesn't hurt to take it to another dealer. I haven't had any problems with the one where I got mine from and luckily it's in the town that I live in.
