I like them. I am a big boy with a bad back, and God built the ground too close to my ass. They work great. Look like crap. But work great.

one of the best ext changes they made, i throw my snowmobile in the back a lot so using the step to hop up in is so much better than something on the centerline.

Love em. My uncle has been bolting on a homemade step onto his trucks since the early 80s. Now he doesn't have to. I used to say trucks should come with these things stock, they finally do!

I like them, because it's easier for me and my young boys to get in back of the truck to get something.

Should have been putting these on for ever, they are great.

I don't personally like the look of the step but I am the first one to use it. Having said that I am considering a plain bumper for it. I don't mind jumping up onto the gate when required.

I never paid attention to the looks of the bumper steps but as I posted earlier they sure are convenient. I have to laugh at the the hitch on or off arguments, here in rural Texas it's odd to see a truck without a hitch on it. I'll bet the majority of you guys have never seen a hay spike sticking out of the back of a truck :)

No but sometimes I forget to take the polishing cloth out of the truck for washing.

What's not to like? They are useful and unobtrusive. With the color matched bumper on my back Denali, you hardly know they are there. Use them any time I get into the bed

I personally do not like the side steps in the rear bumper. On a 4X4 these steps are quite high to use and I prefer putting a step in the trailer hitch which is a few inches (+/-) lower (which means a lot) than the bumper. This type of bumper with side steps isn’t a new idea because it was on other Makes/Vehicles over the years. The Chevy Avalanche /Nissan Xterra had it at one time and there was complaints the steps would rust out and collapse over time.

I don’t care for theses side steps and wish we had the option for the regular (w/o steps) bumper. I also think the regular bumpers looks so much better. Just something I wouldn’t use too much.

Have people been actually using these side steps in the rear bumper or just like them for the looks?

I dont like the steps either, I also wish there was a option for a regular type of bumper.

like most have said already, while they may not look that great they are very useful. when the tail gate is down it is very easy to get into the bed of the truck, even if the tail gate is up it is easy.

I've been wondering why it took so long to get them on a pickup. Avalanche (which is/was really an suv) had them available years ago.

My truck has a 6" lift, the steps are extremely useful. I'm not in love with the look but appreciate the function more.
