6.2 oil dipstick

Does anyone else find the dipstick in their 2014 with a 6.2 kind of hard to reach? I also find the dipstick covered in oil at least 1/2 way up the stick even after the truck has sat all night. I have to remove the dipstick and let the oil drain back into the engine for a couple of minutes before I can get a clean read on the oil level. Anyone see this issue on their trucks?

Its hard to reach on my 5.3 too. And I am usually standing on the curb in my garage....

To be fair it was difficult to reach on my 2011 5.0 F150, but there was a hole in the bumper where I could put my foot and boost myself up to reach in better.

Last I knew for the last ten years if it gets under a quart a light would come on. Cant imagine they did away with that. I only check after a oil change sometimes they over fill by a lot, I go back and make them drain it.

I need s step ladder to reach mine on the 5.3.

Of course also need it to reach the center of the hood, the roof, and the center of the bed cover when washing.

ITS AWESOME :D having a truck again he he...

Speaking of dipsticks, the oil dipstick on my 5.3 ltr is EXTREMELY flimsy. I realize it's a minor issue, but is there such a thing as a correctly calibrated replacement? One that would be sturdy, like a normal one is? I also prefer a flat one, not spiral.

Just wondering.
