itsmerce Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 does anyone have the part number for the the high country drivers side handle?
Mike1220 Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 does anyone have the part number for the the high country drivers side handle? Its the same thing as the one used for the Sierra. Just make sure you get the right color. Go to shopchevyparts.com and look at which one you need. The colors are the only thing that differs from handle to handle and all handles can fit in both the Sierra and Silverado. Probably also the same exact thing on both the 1500s and the HDs.

Rat_city Posted November 13, 2014 Author Posted November 13, 2014 before during heres the bolt holes sorry for the last two pictures it was getting dark
Rat_city Posted November 13, 2014 Author Posted November 13, 2014 and heres with it instaled, literally only took my about 5 minutes. i thought i was gonna need a pry bar (flat head) to get the trim off but all i did was pull it from the top on the door side and it popped off. then i put the new one in bottom first and popped the top end in and lined up the holes. just take the two bolt covers off before you put it on or itll probably be awkward getting them out and you might break them
Mike1220 Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 One thing I have started to grow curious about ever since I put my handle on, how are we supposed to take it back off if we needed to get behind there?? I mean, the bolt covers are clipped from behind. Is there any easy way that anyone has found to be able to remove this hadle to access the wires behind it if the need ever arose?

The same way you remove the passenger's side handle Haha but in all seriousness, I just installed this today and was wondering the same thing. Probably going to have to break those clips?

Probably going to have to break those clips? Just use a small flat head screw driver. I tried it on mine and the covers pop right off.
Scott P Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 I installed my handle today. I think it will be nice to have. Easy job too.
mdmischief Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 So I just got my handle but it didn't come with the bolts. WTF? Anyone else have that problem?
krdeal Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Like said previously in the post the only option is the color. Look it up under accessories from GM. Remember the part is not black on black interior trucks as the trim and headliner are of a different color.
