Reason I'm debating on lifting this one is because I was debating on selling the other truck. But it's so hard letting go of something you've put so much pointless money into [emoji23] [emoji23]

You get over it after a couple weeks lol although every time I look at my brothers instagram I miss it

If I sold it, my money would be in the bank ASAP and I'd be online buying wheels and tires to stick under this thing as well as a BDS coilover kit lol

Only thing recently is I rolled 10k this week

 

 

Been working long hours and weekends a lot lately so not much time for the truck. Next weekend I should have down time so I'll be yanking the rear bumper in order to install the step lights. I may also tackle the footwell lights as well. Can't wait!! [emoji106]

Why are you doing this?

Get all the metal shavings and such out of it. Anytime I do a trans swap I do a filter and fluid change about 2k afterwards to get all the metal grit (or the bulk of it) out of the system. Haven't had much time to do it yet. Have had the parts for almost 2 months.

 

It's not necessary but it makes me feel better considering I've checked transmissions 2k after install and the magnet in the pan is covered in metal in an anti-seize type texture

I've looked and it seems to be a quick job SlavO. All pan bolts easily accessible and no need to drop the Y pipe like my 02 with a 4l60e

This truck is amazing. I love how quiet it is, and the power to mpg ratio is amazing. I like the rugged look of the high country brown seats too. 10k happy miles and counting [emoji106]

Well, I went to go pull the rear bumper to install the led bolt lights in the steps but I was about an hour in and I couldn't figure out how to get the small screws and bolts out to pull the top bumper pad to pull out a few bolts to get it off. Too lazy to do all that right now so I put it all back together

 

I'll either get back at it at a later date or do what Mike1220 did and just use a double sided tape backed led light and drill a small hole for the wires

No, no you can't do that. You have been given a mission to remove the rear bumper my friend. I must know how lol. I want to pull the bumper at a later date when I get it colormatched and also so I can pull the black plastics off and bed line them for better grip and so they don't fade overtime.
