When the birds decide your mirror is a good perch... time to break out the Mosin.0a802d687d4311baab4be17ef3df15a6.jpg

Having the same problem at work. I think it is mating season, they see their reflection and think it is a rival and attack it (themselves). The more worked up they get, the more they crap everywhere. Looks awesome on a black truck, little bastards!!!! Edited by jimcost2014

Nah there's a robin at my house that has decided the mirror is an excellent perch. Now I just fold my mirrors in. My wife's car looks half red and half white now though cause her mirrors don't fold

Folded or out, my passenger mirror gets attacked. Little bird, like the ones in the McDonalds parking lot, looking to kick it's own ass.

Don't have any right now. I'll try and get some this weekend when I rotate the tires.

Here ya go. I do have the 1-3/4" spacers in the rear to match the increased track width in the front.

so hopefully this is a good thread to ask this question before i attempt to start a new thread...I was thinking about blacking out the red Z in Z71 on my doors and my front grill. what would be the safest and easiest way to do that? my two thoughts are taping off and using plasti dip OR getting some touch up paint and just getting little brush and painting that way...thoughts?

or even better, are their any after market stickers (that i haven't been able to find yet) that i can just put over the red?

That looks real nice. I think I need to add some spacers in the rear also. Mine aren't that aggressive so I won't need that big of a spacer though. Did you have to install longer wheel studs?

Zone 4.5 lift increases total front track width roughly 3". I did 1 - 3/4" spacers to get me close and not have to trim studs. 1.5" spacers would need studs trimmed for proper fit. Technically they are more of an "adapter" rather than a spacer. Aggressiveness of tire doesn't really dictate size of spacer needed. Less aggressive and/or narrower of a tire would still have a roughly 3" increase in track with in front relative to the rear.

does it fit in the garage with the 4.5 lift ?

That I do not know. I have not tried. The motorcycle won the battle for garage parking.
