What about Black Silverado/Sierra Photos?

Yeah I would not change your blackout theme, those look amazing. Black and chrome makes for a really handsome, classy truck, and I generally don't like completely color matched trucks, but the new Silverado does look really sinister when it is color matched - especially black. The midnight editions are awesome looking trucks. They had a regular cab midnight edition at our dealer. I was tempted to get it because of how awesome it would look lowered as a sport truck, BUT we've got too much family and things to haul.

I swore up and down that my new truck was going to have chrome front and rear. I preferred it over the color matched front end, but like you, I ended up with a good deal on a midnight edition so there's not a spec of chrome on the thing.. go figure. The painted front has grown on me. Chipping is my main concern, so right away I had it X-PEL filmed.

your Midnight Edition didn't come with the chrome inserts on the grille? Mine did and I love the contrast.

Nope.. 2017 Midnight editions are completely blacked out. Definitely a cool looking truck IMO.. I added the black GM running boards to keep the theme,

ok my 2015 is a bit different but I still like it lol! I also have the 4" black oval running boards

17 Denali could not pass up deal or coco/ maple interior. Weather tech mats, wind visors(in channel), tint. Removed huge gmc badge from tailgate and left overt vinyl for front. Next levelling kit.

This bad boy launched from the dealership today! 5.3L LT All Star Z71 with Leather and Bose, trailer package. Leased truck so no mods.

I had a green 15, lease expired today, was a great truck, but time to switch.

I think the refreshed front end looks best in solid dark colors. First black vehicle I've owned and I'm SS age.

Lurking in the background is a Grand Sport Carbon 65, nice car!

I'm looking at the sticker for a 2017 2500 LTZ Z71. The first item under "Midnight Edition" states: Grille, body color with chrome bars." Having seen a photo of this truck, the grille is definitely black with chrome bars running across. It is similar (but not the same) the "redline edition" grille shown a few post back.

It also has black tubular running boards, although there is no mention of them anywhere on the sticker. Odd.

Just realized the sticker also indicates chrome body side moldings. While this seems to be overridden by the midnight edition package, there is no indication of that on the sticker.

Keep in mind if you are looking at a 2500, they have a different grille and i would suspect a few different options than the 1500...however...the LTZ package has the chrome trim (body molding) that you are seeing on the sticker...the midnight package overrides that though...the '15 and older 1500 midnight editions have chrome bars on the grill, as i believe that is the same/similar look for the 2500...but i have not shopped for the 2500 at all...the running boards are 99% chance a dealer add on and not from the factory...
