Modified grill opinions

So I replaced the stock slt grill with an All Terrain grill, but don't like the huge gaps, so was thinking about adding some diamond mesh behind it.

 

Let me know your thoughts, I only had two sample pieces to try out so you'll need a little imagination.

Looks almost like a billet grille, I think it works just don't finish the bottle or it might be crooked.

That isnt an all terrain grill. That is a regular grill color matched.

How did you color match it like that? I assume you removed it? Or plasti-dip? I will trade you ;)

When I bought the truck I told them to order the All Terrain grill from GM, this is what we got. I agree it's not the one that comes on an All Terrain, but this is what came in, and I actually like it much better.

 

What I don't like is the big gaps between the frames that allow crap to blow right in to the radiator, also wondering if something got up there and messed up the temp sensor, since people ar saying its behind the grill somewhere .

The cobra, that was great work, thanks as this makes it easier to evaluate, especially knowing one should evaluate the possibilities of fur bars in the cooling system!

I think it looks pretty good but you need some blood for the cat or maybe put a zombie in there

I think I am going to actually do this. I am also going to have the front and rear bumpers painted to match, and will probably have the metal mesh done prior to putting it on. I think all the white we be nice?
