Blind Spot Mirror

My LT has a little convex blind spot mirror on the drivers side mirror. Do any of the higher trim levels have this mirror on the passenger side as well? It would be handy to have them on both sides.

It would be nice, but no, they are only available (standard, even) on the driver's side.

I am a huge fan of blind spot mirrors; so big, that I buy them for friend's cars all the time.

Just an aside: that little blind spot mirror is not big enough or convex enough to provide protection as a regular blind spot mirror would, so be careful trusting it. I found out unexpectedly.

The vertical mirrors being sold (I have them now) have a great blind spot mirror as it should.

I'm guessing their theory is since the passenger mirror is already slightly convex, you don't need it. Ford has been putting them on both sides for a bit now and initially I hated them but as I got used to adjusting the main mirror (the convex ones are fixed) I was able to use them and they are indeed quite useful. My 2011 has towing mirrors and they spoil me in tears of rearward visibility.

I just bought a couple stick on mirrors from Lowe's and they work great. The one that came on the mirror is too high anyways. The ones I got has a 90° angle on one edge and then a curved end on the opposite side.

Hi Bobby

I am thinking about picking up a pair of those. Where did you get them? and are you happy with the placement?

Thanks Andy
