Rancho or Bilstein

Ok guys the time has come for me to level my truck I'm torn between the Rancho Quick Lift Loaded or the newly released Bilstein 5100 adjustable. The rancho claims a 2" lift and the Bilstein claims 1.8" lift. The ranchos run around $550 and the Bilsteins run around $420. I'm looking to run a 285/55/20 or a 295/55/20 all terrain tire. What do you guys think?

I like the Bilsteins. I just removed the harsh OEM Z71 shocks from a friends 2014 Sierra, and replaced them with the 5100's. I noticed an immediate difference in ride quality.

So they are out? So do you know the part # by chance?

A little off topic but between bilstien and say a king or fox shock which would you guys suggest?

What is the difference except price and height?

Just to clarify some things... bilstein is now making shocks for 2014+ ?

Also - I already have a 2in level up front... will those shocks raise the front anymore? I dont want that.

Yes they are available and remove your 2" level and run these shocks adjusted to the highest setting.

Having had a few sets of Bilsteins, including 5100 height adjustables in my 2008, and having one set of Rancho (OEM) shocks, I would go with the Bilsteins. No comparison. The Bilsteins have more sophisticated damping curves and much better ride quality.

I haven't had the Quick Lift Loaded adjustable damping shocks. Someone said they liked them.
