We'll have a full replacement LED fog light housing available soon--another option for better performance than the stock fogs even with LED bulbs in them. :)

I seen this on Headlight Junkies. I'm really excited about this. Will there be a chrome housing option for us LTZ guys too?

Don't use my fog lights much at all and this is the second one going bad. Chip coming off. Hope they are laying better in the headlights. Fast on the though replacement, so that is nice. 910bbb5adc2757816aaf5386d2616dec.jpg

To clarify all doubts: LMZ bulbs DO work with the DRL feature. Been running them for over a month. They work great in the projector housing. I went with them because I didn't know about OPT7 at the time, and probably still would just because I think 6000k light is too blue-ish. I run OPT7 LEDs in my high beams.

Did you keep the "boot" off the back once you installed these in your headlights? My HID in the low beam just went out again... Already been replaced once and trying to figure out why I keep going thru bulbs..

I did for the longest time, but recently sealed the back.

I ran them through severe thunderstorms without the boots with no issues, however.

I have read through this thread and did a lot of research on the LMZs before purchasing them for my Sierra SLT. I modified my dust caps the same way that TX_AT did his in this thread. Last night I got everything hooked up and the lights worked great when the headlight switch was on and the truck was not running. About 10-15 seconds after cranking the truck, the lights would shut off and not come back on. If I turned the truck off and left the headlight switch on, the lights would come back on within about 30 seconds. I have emailed VLEDS and am waiting on a response but wanted to see if any of you guys had any insight on this issue.
