2014/2015 GM Heated and Cooled Seats - Worth it?

Hi - I am just curious to everyone who has the heated and cooled seats if the cooled setting really works and is worth it or not? Does it really keep the seat cool in those hot summer days when the windows are down>

 

Also for those who have heated and cooled plus the drivers alert package - do you feel the sensors in the sides of the seat at all??

The cooled seats are great for air flow I can't wait to test them this summer. Yes you can feel the seat sensors on the driver alert package. It vibrates.

Both the heated/cooled work awesome. I've used the vented seats on longer trips just to cool seat for a minute after my ass has been in for a while.

Absolutely worth it. The cooling was much more than I expected. It's a very noticeable difference in temperature. Yeah I can feel the sensors in the seat too. I'm getting used to it though after just two days.

Haven't been able to try the cooling in the truck yet, but like it in the car.

 

The heated seats are slower to warm than the previous, I find I can comfortably leave them on as long as I turn them down to the low setting. The older ones always got to hot (even on low).

don't know about cooled, but I love the heated seats, even with the cloth I have in my A/T they are great, much better then I thought they would be without leather

I have the heated seats in my 'vert and love them in the spring and fall............it was a great addition on the truck! But what really got me was the heated steering wheel after scraping the windshield the other morning, wow! Can't wait to try the AC, just wish the 'vert had them.

It is one of those options you don't think you need, but then glad you have them once you use them once. Even in nice weather, the back-only heat setting helps my back on a long trip.

 

My wife's favorite feature of the entire truck is the heated steering wheel. Its right up there as one of mine as well.

 

As for the driver's alert seat vibrations, yes, you definitely feel them. They work well.

I don't think I'd like the driver alert in the seat, seems the little indicator light is adequate as oppsed to being startled bye a seat vibration, although my wife may like?? LMAO
