I think there's hp gains if they are before the cats. Not positive though.

or that's what the website says haha. Sucks you can't get a hold of the guys at DMH though, I don't know of any other cutout companies that have a warranty like that. Almost all cutouts I've seen though have some type of leak issue. It seems like the plate's aren't reinforced very well. But with a 4 year warranty you can't really complain about that.

I just ordered electronic cutout with y pipe from auto anything. The brand I got was Pypes. I talked to my local exhaust guy and asked him to mount it between the last cat and muffler and then run a pipe from the cutout around the muffler and connect it back into the original tailpipe. So that way either way I have the cutout. The sound will come from my nice new oem exhaust tip.

Ya i called DMH several times today AND I even sent in the order form but the stupid paypal link wouldnt work. It's like they are impossible to buy from WTF!

DMH was a no go. Could not reach them, could not make an order. And they would not respond to multiple emails. I would stay away. I ordered a set from BadlanzHPE instead. Looks just as nice with a 5 year warranty.

My cutouts have shipped and will be here any day now. I am going to make a video of it and of course take pictures during the install.

i had to do a muffler swap (my dynomax was rattling) and i ran open for a little. It was nice! im betting he likes it.

Definitely louder. I'd say a 25% or so increase in volume. I was hoping for double the volume though lol. I think if I had long tube headers and free flow cats it would be louder. Louder than any muffler though. As far as the sound, it has a more natural engine sound yet deeper and meaner. At WOT it is awesome. Im super busy at work so soon as I have free time I can record it and explain my install and what I think about the cutouts themselves

Oh man it sounds so freakin badass! My install was super clean too I have to give myself credit. It is sounding better and better each day and louder too.

hahahaha im still running open till i can put my muffle back on but when i cold started this morning i thought the neighbors were going to ring my neck. sounds so mean.
