Oh man that sport bar looks sooo much better on an HD than a 1500.

Thanks !! And it looks better with the lights on it I've seen sports bars without the spot lights

Also I spent the time putting red LEDS in the word Sierra so it lights up at night

Traded off my 2014 High Country this week for a 2016 2500 Duramax. I pull a trailer nearly daily for my business and the poor 5.3 was going to die an early death if I kept it much longer. I loved the High Country, but being a work truck I decided to go with a step down to an LTZ this time. Pretty much all the same stuff minus the collision alert and sunroof, neither of which I really cared about anyway. My dealer is top notch and before I ever even picked the truck up I had them put 5% tint, leveling kit, steps, B&W turnover ball, and 305/55R20 Toyo R/Ts on it. Definitely a huge difference in towing my mowing trailer and I can't wait to hook up my camper and car hauler to it.

New truck...

Hey, I've been to that dealership before!!! Didn't buy anything but they were very helpful and friendly. :jester:

Here is my 15 2500 HD Denali 6.6L. I traded in my 1500 loaded Sierra for it. It doesn't even compare lol. I love this truck.

How do you like those Mastercrafts? They're on my short list for my next set of tires. Any input/opinions would be appreciated!

I only put about 1000 miles on the new cxt so far. They ride good and not loud for what you're getting. I used to run Mastercraft ct and really liked them.I would get 65000 miles on the ct. Mastercraft replaced the ct with the cxt. They are nice looking tires and I've never had any problems with Mastercraft tires.

Good deal. I've always heard good things about Mastercrafts too...and they're made by Cooper...who also has a good reputation. Thanks for the reply!

Still in its early stage. It usually takes me a few years to get my trucks to where I want them. Last truck was 13 years old with 300,000 miles. It was an 03 Excursion. Every year I take a big swing at it; lift, tires/rims, bumpers, stereo, lights and constant little things. This is a clean slate, I am always excited to drive my truck, I park way far out to avoid dents but to also have a chance to take a long look at my truck as I walk to it. I think this body style, be it Chevy or GMC, has the best lines of any truck and when done right with lift and tires/rims looks beautiful.

Hi folks,

This is my first post after hanging around the forum for a few weeks. Here's my 2016 LTZ 2500HD. So far I've added Amp running boards, BDS 6.5 lift with Fox upgrade and Toyo 35x12.5 RT's on stock rims. The lift kit is turned down to accommodate the 35's instead of 37's and to give better CV angles. I've also covered the gold bow-ties with 3M carbon fiber vinyl to match the tungsten metallic paint better. Next upgrade will be adding a 10" Sundown sub and RF amp to help boost the factory Bose system.

My neighbor, golf partner, and good friend is the GM there and I'm on my third truck from him. They have been very good to me, I can't thank them enough.
