Thoughts on new wheels?

no way those are stuck on there with tape, there are 2 different kind of wheels ck163 and ck164. One has the insert and one doesn't, the oem wheel has the black insert that is held on by the screws. 19301164 is the gm part number

Ok my mistake, Didn't know there were 2 different versions.

Personally other than looks, Chad mentioned something I didn't think about and I agree that I see dirt and even brake dust getting between the rims and the inserts and the only way to get between them would be to remove the inserts. What would also make that even harder would be that you'd probably have to use loctite to keep each bolt from working itself out. I believe it would be the blue one where you can still break the seal. I could be wrong on that though.

I am trying to find a good deal on the OEM hyper silver wheels, I think they are CK 136? The wheels that come on the Tahoes and some Silverados. The OE wheel website has some but they have chrome inserts and we all know there is enough chrome on these trucks already. Figured I would ask you guys in case you knew of a better site, GM has them listed at 430 a piece and that's not gonna happen, I have a buyer for my stock ones. Did anyone upgrade to these and notice a difference in ride quality and did you have to re calibrate your speedo? I have the 20s now, it's just chrome overload for me. Thanks in advance for the help. I upgraded to these. I found some takeoffs on craigslist for a good price. Ride quality hasn't changed on bit and the speedometer did not change since it is based on the wheel circumference. Let me know if you have any questions.

I like the gunmetal look , but with red inserts instead of chrome.

Yeah I am close to just getting those Bitcoin I would really like to find a deal on the GM set. These LTZs already have plenty of chrome one them. I guess I will justo stay patient and wait for a deal to come along.

I really like these CK 163 & 164 wheels in the standard silver. The wife wants black wheels on this truck and I think I do too so I have been trying to find pics of these in all black or black with chrome inserts. I don't think GM ever offered them in black but the reproduction market does, at least in the 20" version which is what I want. I've searched the net multiple times and have only found one crappy ebay picture of the black version actually mounted on a truck. Anybody know of any pics? Also interested in pics of the gunmetal version if anyone knows of any.
