Passenger assist handle

Today I had a passenger grab the passenger assist handle to get in and it moves and doesn't feel as secure as it should. I pulled it off and tightened the two bolts, but it didn't make a difference. It does the job, but can be wiggled with a bit of strength.

 

Anyone else notice this?

Yeah they have a lil wiggle in them.

That's odd. Neither of my front assist handles have any flex in them, stout/firm with no movement on both OE passenger or the driver's side which I added post purchase.

sorry to hijack, but can you post a picture of the driver handle? Just noticed mine isn't fitting as well as I like and would be easy to show the dealer.

Mine are solid too. You should take it in.
