Dang Mice!

Washer fluid wasn't spraying but I heard the pump, opened the hood and saw where a mouse chewed the line in half in several spots.

I live in the country and am always fighting this issue, I put those Green one inch by two inch bait blocks where the second battery tray is and they chew them up but I still see there little footprints everywhere.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Try dryer sheets...they hate the smell or moth balls in cups or even your old socks. If you park your antique car for a period of

time.. open all the ash trays, glove box, hood, trunk and windows as the mice HATE light! Try the dryer sheets on the floors to help

You're lucky in my 98 Z71 they got the wires to my horn, alarm system & fuel injection wiring harness! I put out everything I could & still didn't stop them. I had a tornado take out all the oak trees & the leaves that lay on the ground & finally built a 30'×40'shop with concrete slab & since then no more mice. I still put out decon in the corners just for safety sake.

I have the problem of them making a nest on top of the engine overnight as the engine keeps them warm for a few hours. Somebody told me to put those cardboard air fresheners in all the openings like glove compartment, ash tray, between seat cushions. They seem to work so far for me and makes ur truck smell good. Whatever, don't use mothballs in a car u are using!

Don't feed them under the hood.

(set up bait station somewhere else - so your not training the survivors that the truck is a buffet location)

Rotate bait types used and possibly use more than one type of bait station.

Use glue traps, spring traps etc as well as bait stations.

If there are other nearby food locations, get rid of them as well.

A well feed cat is patient (and more productive) when trying to catch mice.

Get a cat.

or

Snap traps with peanut butter- gets em every time

Keep using the bait blocks. I have 10 parrots at my house and with all the fruits and nuts, we had a mouse problem. Eventually we got it under control by using the bait blocks.

yea the snap traps & peanut butter works good for us too. Don't have a cat but our little mini fox terrier slays mice like a champion....
