But that dang All Terrain is a looker for sure and looks to be built for some fun in the 4 wheeling department.

Nicely done ConnRadd. I sure do like the idea of the 6.2 with the 3.42 rear end and the 8spd. That should be like having the 3.73 rear end they offered on the 2014's.

Thanks.. I really enjoyed my Avalanche, but it was time to get something bigger. At first, I targeted a 2500, but couldn't justify the maintenance cost of a deisel. I figured I'd go with the biggest 1/2 ton, level it and get bigger tires; would be the next best thing to a HD.

Since I spend a good amount of time in my truck, also wanted the luxuries. AT was my next consideration, was really hoping for the best of both AT w/ Max Trailering; but GM won't allow it..

I know ConnRadd. It sux. Beck n Masten told me I couldn't get the all terrain with the max tow so I was bummed a little. But I really love the silver metallic color and now they tell me they can't get the A/T package to accept that color either. Was thinking of maybe the cc 4x4 with maybe a A/T grille so I could still get a/c seats and still get my silver metallic. Lol

Had to find his name in my phone. John Gargas I think. He sold me my 2014. Good guy but I think he's getting tired if me calling him with questions. Lol

Yeah, I hounded Darin off and on. I've been looking at GMC/Chevy since Dec. lol

I went on GMC's website to build a truck, I had the silver picked and as soon as I picked the AT, it would remove it. Odd that GMC don't allow that colt for an AT. Has to be one of most popular colors.

It did on the 2014's. That is what bothers me the most.

I have a AT. I'd probably just get a Denali next time. I don't like the plastic seat bolsters. 1/2 the seat is plastic on the AT. I understand the sides and back, but its down to two strips of leather in the center on the AT. That's BS.

The thing I do like is the grill and bumpers being color matched. After that, a Z71 is the same. You'll have to toss the OEM Rancho shocks if you want a decent ride.

Forgot to say my 2014 is the z71 package 2wd so I know what you mean spurshot about the shocks. Got'em on my truck. I don't mind the ride too much but I imagine it could be better.

I have the AT - other additions include the skid plates, bigger capacity air cleaner - if you go w/ denali or AT make SURE you get the front bumper wrapped in some protective film, it chips extremely easy, so easy that mine looked bad enough after 4 months of ownership (granted purchased it just before a winter) that the dealer got GM to cover a respray and then added 3M film @ their cost.

Just an FYI
