1999 k1500 rough idle/heastion while driving

I have a 1999 k1500 and between 10-20 mph my truck wants to die out, and I don't have the throttle response it used to have. There is 203k miles on it, new plugs/wires cap and rotor are also a disbuter. Any help would be nice as I can't afford a new truck

Rent a fuel pressure gauge for free for oreilly or autozone. Is your truck the gmt400 with 5.7 motor or gmt800 with 5.3?

5.7. I heard that the egr could be sticky?

Have you ever changed the O2 sensor

I know it would help the throttle response but probably not dieing out I would to say cheek the EGR take it off make sure it's in the closed postion of not its probably because its full of carbon just buy a new one. They are both fairly easy to change

I cleaned it with brake parts cleaner seemed to work

Did it fix it ? And I would still change your O2 sensor out of you wanted better throttle response
