what is that all about? Only the drivers seat. Had dealer feel it. We went out to lot to another 15 high country and same thing.

Anyone else notice this?

Is it in the bottom of the seat? Haptic motor for the lane departure warning system. There is a procedure for modifying the position of the motors by rotating them. #PIT5408: Drivers Safety Alert Seat Cushion Discomfort (Haptic Motor Position)

Could be this if you have the driver alert package..

When sitting in the driver’s seat on some 2015 Escalade models, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, Sierra, Yukon Models; 2014 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500 models equipped with the Driver Alert Package (RPO Y65), it may be possible to feel the left or right haptic seat motor.

Yup...My drivers seat (15 HC) is hard as a rock and not comfortable at all...guess we know why now.

Is this a time consuming adjustment by the dealer? Mine was built in Mex&%*#ico, is that common ground?

Will search for #PIT5408. Thanks, Jim

They're all built in Mexico.

I have 16,000 miles on mine and haven't noticed it. I guess they aren't all affected?

Not ALL GM truck are built in Mexico...

My LTZ Double Cab was NOT built in Mexico. I have the driver alert package and icy seats are fine. I think this affects some units but not all.

It is quite possible seats come from a common supplier regardless of plant (keep in mind trucks and SUVs are spread out over 4 plants) and some had the motors installed improperly.
