If you guys are willing to wait, I am scoring some pretty nice deals on some no name brand LMZ headlights, exactly the same, same diodes and the offset adjustments. I will have some ordered when I find new caps for my headlights

The small circle is where it's starting to melt. This sucks because I was so happy with them! 20ddaa117bc0e9e99b693b484c1ee348.jpg

I wonder if it is because its not a projector housing. I havent noticed any issues with mine.

You'd think a projector would focus it more though... But I'm probably wrong. Really don't want to but silveratars just to get away from the yellow but that's probably where im headed

Strange, on mine the lense is much cooler than with halogens. Is it the lense or the reflector that is getting damaged?

If thats where youre saying its melting your headlight then thats not melting. All headlights come with those cirlces. And i dont think something is going to melt you a perfect circle.

if thats not the spot then dont mind my post lol

Are your guy's diodes facing side to side?

For H11 yes. I don't see how your lenses could melt from these bulbs. I could see the reflector melting if the fans stopped working though. I just drove mine and the lenses's are cool to the touch-much, much cooler than halogens. I haven't put a lot of miles on the the bulbs yet which is why I haven't posted anything. Also for anyone throwing these into LT reflector lamps-you MUST re-aim them. My cutoff moved up significantly with these bulbs.

Yeah I had adjusted mine 4 to 5 turns down. Do you have this circle in your lenses?

These headlights seem like a great option. Do I need to purchase anything else like a capacitor to install these?
