I was just reading the thread about how much you pay for your silverado. And I went to grab the paperwork cause I didn't remember.. anyways long story short. I built my own truck at the dealership computer and am I the only (2015) silverado with the 3:73? I know 2014 trucks came with it but from reading only the 3:08 and the 3:42 was offered in the 2015.. and fyi I have a 6.2 with the 8 speed

Then you have the 3.42 gears. Look in your glovebox for the RPO code. The 3.73 is only for the 5.3L.

Damit says gu6 in the glove box.. sorry guys I got all excited cause I thought I was the only one. Should of checked the glove box first.. oh well again I apologize everyone

It says 3.73 for the 5.3L EcoTec3 engine on the paperwork in that picture you posted.

nothing wrong with Hendricks cheverlot.. my brother is a salesman there.. he's on his 3rd year there and last 2 years he's got salesman of the year.. on pace for his 3rd.. you should go to motor city

I didnt care for the sales staff and parts dept. Had bad experiences 3 times there while looking at trucks and trying to get parts.

Now hold on boys. For the '15s and upcoming '16s, wha' are the ratios available? Most around here on lots are 3.08, which I do not want. So, is it, 3.08, 3.42, and a few 3.73?
