Just YouTube how to remove grill on 2014 Sierra. Pretty good video. 4 bolts on top, 2 in each fender and 2 or 4 underneath...I can't remember

So, today was the day to do the LED lightbar install behind the grill and add a 2" Level lift to my truck. I bought the light bar here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/131339208007?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Excellent job on the pics, they really do a good job of showing how insanely bright these things are. I think your bar is the same one I got: http://www.totron.com/products/dc-style/dcx-series/30inch-180w-cree-10-30v-double-row-curved-led-light-bar-detail just sold under a different name. But I paid about twice as much! Anyway, good job.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Had to do something with the atrocious headlights that my truck has. The dealership did the TSB on them a few days ago, but they still suck. I have to find a way to upgrade the headlights for times that I can't use the lightbar. I know there is a huge thread on this, but I really don't have time to read through all that. I'm looking hard at upgrading the fog lights to these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/281657391753

Anybody use these? How hard is it to put them in?

I will make it easy on you for the headlights. I read most of those threads. I decided to stay away from LED's because of the heat issues and did not want to deal with fan problems. So I went with this. Designed for the sierra, I put them in myself in less than 2 hours. While watching my kids play. Very easy to install. I am happy with them.

If you do those fog lights post pics. They look pretty cool. I have the VLED fogs and I do not care for them. I do not really need them though because the headlights are so much brighter.

I haven't had LED or HID, however I agree with your comment. When I am ready to do a headlight upgrade, I am pretty set on that HID setup. Sure, it isn't a full retrofit with HID specific Projectors, however it seems the consensus is that it is a solid improvement.

Op did you tap the holes for the bar or did you just go through the box tube?

Did you finally get your light bar in your ordered? Hows it look? Post up some pics if you can!

I got mine mounted today. It went pretty well. The harness it came with worked very well. I need to mount the switch still. I couldn't find my drill bit and I had to go to work. b4458bb909d8b108142c29f1b3574fea.jpg409a7224d813d5512d34f6ed21ff0766.jpg

I got mine mounted over the weekend as well. Ended up going with a single row, but after getting this one in, I think I can fit a double row behind the grill without blocking much light. Anyways, here's pics of mine for now.

I suggest you clean that front bumper. :loser:

looks good.

In my defense, I was in Louisiana for the weekend hence all the bugs from the drive there. Wasn't going to clean it because it happened all over again on the way back to Houston.

Where did you get the light Bar and mounts? And what size?
