I never knew you could pick up light bars so cheap. I've only heard of the crazy $800 ones. Wish it wasn't OOS or I'd impulse buy one right now. Thanks for sharing the part and your install. Looks great!

How did you cut out the hole to put in that switch? I have a 32" light bar custom mounted behind my grill, paid $85-$86 for it might I add as well, and also have a very similar switch. I have a dremel to do the work with, but would like some advice if there is any to be had.

When I added LEDs I used a 12 volt relay with a remote. Works great on both of my trucks! All wiring is under the hood(no holes to drill) and can hold remote if traffic is around.Relay is good up to 20 amps.Found on EBay.

I need to take my grill off this weekend and see if the 31.5 measurements net me the same results. I have an All Terrain so the grill is different. I need to see how that spacing falls on my grill

the one the OP ordered is listed as 31.5

Yea I know. He has an SLT grill tho so the gaps in the grill might be in different places. For all I know the AT grill would better off with a 32" bar which would probably net an overall length of 34" with the mounts or infact the 31.5".

 

Just need to measure and see what would work best.

 

Is yours an AT as well?

man that light bar is bright!! i cant imgine how bright a 52in curved light bar would be on the roof!. it looks great!
