How/where did you run the wires from bar to switch? I see them running up the radiator support, but then where? Also did the bar come with the wiring or did you purchase separately?

That's awesome. I literally just tried to go order that same bar but they are sold out! Do you think any curved 30" would fit the same?

They run across to the drivers side, and to the fuse box. Grounded to the inside fender. They are then run up under the floorboard with a small hole drilled and sealed with silicone. Then behind the kick panel and to the switch. The lightbar comes with a pigtail wire and connector already attached. You'll need some more wire, depending on if you are going to run a switch, or run it through the brights fuse, etc.

Thanks for the info. I think the location and switch you used is one of the cleanest setups I've seen. If I can find a switch similar to that I'll probably try to do the same thing.

Most likely. Just try to get the mount around 31.5" across.

went to town with the Dremel and poof! I too went to autozone to find a cleaner switch but I had no luck at several stores. I ended up mounting the switch that came with the relay harness. I may order a different switch in order to get rid of the current one, but for now I think it is wicked pissah. Thanks for the thread, or I would have not been motivated to do this.

Wow! I definitely am impressed with the output. I gotta get this bar! I was originally thinking the Opt7 32" Spot Beam only but your bar seems to be great, even with it being combo.

Thanks. I'm not sure how it could be any better. My buddy has an $800.00 Rigid LED bar. He said "That's just great. I paid 100 times more, and have less output. Crap..." LOL!

I like having the flood beams on the outsides of a curved bar. Put's the flood lights to the sides where they are need most, with the spot beams giving extended range illumination. The light pattern is nice and consistent.

I chose this lightbar based on the excellent seller ratings, and after measuring the distance between the trucks support bars in front of the radiator. A 30" curved bar seemed to have just the right spacing between the lightbar mounts, and the curve radius did not appear to be an issue with clearance.

The lightbar is very sturdy, and the mounts come with a rubber pad to isolate from vibration, etc. Shipping was fast, and the unit appears to be very well made using Cree LED's. At $86.00, it seems to be a great bargain.

 

Here's the switch that I picked up at Autozone for $8.00. Due to the low amperage, no relay was needed.

 

After reading tons of reviews and posts on level lift kits, I decided that I wanted a 2" lift that would leave just a slight amount of rake. That way, I have clearance for bigger tires, a much better stance, more front end clearance, and a truck that doesn't look squatty with a load in the bed. I looked at the Rough Country kit, but had a little concern that the kit was made of plastic. After looking at lot's of options, I found this one for a paltry $32.00 made of billet aluminum with great reviews:

 

Thanks to my mechanic buddy, the install of all items was very smooth with no issues. He was also impressed with the quality of the items vs the low cost. Here's the front fender height before the lift:

After night fall, I took her for a spin to check out the lightbar. One word: Awesome! My buddy and I were chuckling out loud about how bright it is, with a great throw and flood. I am one happy camper! On the other hand, he commented on how dim/yellow the factory headlights are! I explained that I already complained to the dealer about the headlights. They are installing different bulbs and turning up the voltage to fix this issue. They were well aware of the problem, and there is a bulletin on it. Those bulbs go in next Thursday. I should have some really good lighting after that. Thanks for reading this post.

Absolutley awesome job Sniper. Thanks for the information. I ordered a 15 brownstone Silverado LTZ Z71 CC standard bed that is scheduled for build tomorrow. The lift and the light bar are going to be 4th and 5th on my list right behind Line X , front window tint and a Retrax Pro cover. An Amp power step to follow your mods. Great job bro. F-5

Yeah I have been worried what the beam pattern for floods would be like behind the grill but man I wanna get one of these so badly!! If that ebay supplier doesn't restock soon maybe I'll just look on Amazon for some other equivalent 180watt 32 curved.
