my other "mod for the weekend: removing the lower air dam deflector - I like the look better and don't think it will make much difference on MPG once I get the truck lifted anyway....I was concerned about seeing the clips underneath after reading up on the forum, but I don't notice them....

Updated Modifications List

 

Finally have the truck to where I really love how it looks and drives. Since I love doing mods and it is probably a sickness according to my wife, there are always other mods down the line....truck is 7 months old and 9,500 miles on the odometer....

 

Exterior

· Powder coated front and back bumpers

· Painted bumper skirt

· Removed lower bumper valence

· Removed aerospats in front of back wheels

· Removed chrome door trim

· Black Texas Edition emblems

· Spyder LED semi smoked Taillights and 3rd light

· Black emblems on tailgate

· White Billet GMC letters on front

· BAK Revolver Tonneau cover

· Bedrug truck bed liner

· Swing Away Storage Units

· Pop-N-Lock automatic tailgate lock

· Installed Black window trim instead of chrome trim

· Color Matched mirror caps and door handles

· AMP Powersteps replacing 6” GMC surfboards

· Cadillac intake cover housing with GMC emblem installed

· Light Switches installed on light and 4wd panel

Love the truck man. Where did you get the bumpers powder coated? I am local to you and always love having good shops in my back pocket. Considering doing the same with my bumpers.

got them done at Quality powder coating in Carrollton.....usually takes about 4-5 business days - they really wrap it up and protect it well when you pick it up....

good looking truck . Why did you change plug wires ???? This site is costing me money $$$$$

 

honestly, thought they would dress up the engine compartment since they look cool - they may help from a performance standpoint but I don't feel it. they probably will last longer than the stocks and are better made, so I'll say reliability is another good reason...
