Gibson or MBRP

Deciding on Gibson or MBRP. I use to have a Gibson on my 03 5.3 Seirra, it sounded ok but maybe a year later I ditched it for a flowmaster set up. The flowmaster set up was aluminized so it only lasted for about 5 years. I really like the price of both Gibson and MBRP for their stainless systems. My experience with Gibson is hardly any cab noise. That was one thing that eventually got on my nerves with flowmaster. Anybody running Gibson or MBRP? Any input?

I'm running the Gibson on my 15' Sierra 5.3. It has a great rumble sound and drone is very minimal unless your in v4 mode. It's awful and the way I fixed that was to get the range afm delete. Now I'm truly happy with it! I had a mbrp true dual exhaust on my old Procharger 10' Camaro SS. That was a quality piece and the car sounded awesome. I was close to going with mbrp for my truck but the sound clips I heard made it sound very tame and quiet. I wanted a bit more sound and am glad I went with Gibson.

I have the gibson dual sport, and love it. Gets nice and loud at wot, but nice and quite while driving on the highway.

I have sold and installed 5 MBRP kits since installing the 3.5" kit on my 5.3. I had guys pulling me over to ask what exhaust I had...even took one guy for a ride so he could hear the interior side of it. So I like the MBRP systems.

Ok to me but everyone has their threshold on this kind of thing. From a stop you can actually hear the truck now and interstate cruising it's virtually silent and the Airaid MIT will make it hollar also.

Installed the Gibson today and it's awesome. The V4 doesn't bother me that much, I may just shut it off. I don't have any drone in the cab when driving on the Highway. My tires are louder than the exhaust at that speed.

I have a Gibson single swept side exhaust. It's great, loud when you're on it tame when you're not. No drone.

Just ordered this exhaust last night. Hoping its what im looking for!

Just installed the 3" in/out... ended up leaving off the tail piece and dumped it behind the axle.

Sound is exactly what I was looking for, much deeper tone and not terribly loud. If I listen closely I can hear a very slight flutter when it's in V-4 but no drone.
