Thanks everyone, i ended up going to napa and finding some philips head "body fasteners" that worked. I used M4.2x1.41x20mm which worked perfect.

Thanks for the info! I bought these screws off eBay (GM Trim Screws M4.2x1.41x20mm) which fit perfectly.

I got just the opposite problem. I bought a tailgate liner without the hardware and the screws that I have are too short. Wanna trade?
