Are Power Mirrors supposed to auto unfold?

I close my mirrors to get into the garage and everytime I drive away I have to manually press the button to unfold them. My BMW would unfold the mirrors automatically at 15mph. Is there a setting I'm missing? This seems like a pretty big oversight by Chevy. But then again a have a wobbly seat the dealer has fixed 4 times and is now trying to tell me is normal so nothing would suprise me on this truck.

Gotta push the button. No auto unfold. Even Escalade you have to push the button.

There is a setting but it isn't auto. If you push and hold the unlock button on the key fob they will open. It is in the MyLink infotainment under vehicle settings along with auto window down.

It's false advertising by GM - NO AUTO FOLDING MIRRORS!!!!!! Stupid oversight.

It's only 'auto' from the pov that once the fold is started, it is not necessary to hold the button while it completes the move.

I know...so weird but no auto unfold
